I really can't leave well enough alone when it comes to this site. I've been working all afternoon on something else, and then for a break, I came and played with the template choices here. *g*

Well, the holidays are over. Finally. The thing about living in central Florida is pretty much everyone you have ever known ever comes to visit - especially during the holiday season. While I enjoy seeing friends and family, it can be a little exhausting, honestly, playing hostess for weeks on end.

Boy, have I missed writing! I didn't recognize how much I missed it when I took the years-long break, but this time around, I realized my primary way of simply relaxing was gone. I was too busy running around taking care of this and that to sit down for some quiet time.

On a happy note, the three college students who reside in my home (aka my husband and kids) all finished up last term with excellent grades; they each made the Dean's List. The spring semester starts on the 13th. I have no idea what to expect. They have pretty heavy class loads, so I'm betting the care and keeping of hearth and home will fall almost exclusively on my shoulders.

Ah. The oven just dinged the one minute warning to let me know dinner is almost ready. I am going to eat, let the kids know they have dish duty, and get to work on the season premiere of ASKOF.
