I have not written anything beyond essay papers since 2016. For some reason, I thought it would be an excellent idea to accept a hectic management job *and* go back to school for a Master's degree. While many people have been in lockdown or out of work since the pandemic started, my job has been insane - typically 50 - 60 hours a week. And I realized recently that I need something to do that is strictly relaxing and for my enjoyment. So here I am, dusting off my Trixie websites and jumping back in yet again. I signed up for NaNoWriMo. I have no idea if I'll be able to pull it off along with work and school and a planned Thanksgiving vacation, but I'm going to give it my best shot. After that? I'd love to pick A Simple Kind of Fear and The Cold Lake Murders back up. *crosses fingers*
